How does the IVF process work?
1. Initial Consultation
We will review your medical history, carry out the necessary examinations, and recommend the most appropriate treatment plan for you.
2. Ovarian Stimulation
Hormonal treatment is used to support the maturation of multiple eggs.
3. Egg Retrieval
At the optimal time, we will retrieve your eggs during a short, 15-minute anaesthetic procedure.
4. Fertilisation
In the laboratory, the selected eggs will be fertilised with sperm from your partner or a carefully screened donor, and embryo development will begin.
5. Embryo Cultivation
We then carefully monitor the embryos for several days and assess their development to select those with the best potential.
6. Embryo Transfer
The selected embryo is gently transferred into the uterine cavity.
7. Pregnancy Test
Approximately 14 days after the transfer, we will find out whether your journey towards the pregnancy you have been hoping for has reached a successful outcome.
