Read the touching story of our patient, who found out the hard way that patience and the right partner pay off on the road to having a baby. We express our respect to Jana, because waiting seven long years for her dream child must have been mentally and physically demanding. We were all the happier when she sent us a message full of hope, that she decided to inspire couples who have yet to undergo fertility treatment or are just going through it.
Our journey to having a baby took 7 years. At the previous clinic, unfortunately, 3 attempts were unsuccessful. Then we transferred to PFC and Dr. Novotná. She suggested a treatment plan that worked on the very first try –thanks also to the skilled embryologists. Everything about our embryos was explained to us on the day of the transfer, which was a first-time experience for us. I continued taking medication until the third month of pregnancy, as advised by the doctor, and so far, everything is going well. We’ve already had our second screening, and our baby girl is completely healthy. Even with my MBL deficiency and elevated NK cells. A big thank you also goes to coordinator Markétka, who always responded promptly to my emails whenever I needed help or didn’t understand something. ❤️🙏🍀
I hope we manage to get through the next few months without complications, and that I will finally become a mother at the age of 39.
