Isn’t that premature?
Absolutely not. Just because you’re being tested doesn’t necessarily mean you’re going to have IVF. However, our specialists will carefully examine both partners to rule out or confirm the cause of infertility in both the woman and the man.

For the woman, we then start with an ultrasound scan of the uterus and ovaries, a gynaecological examination. Levels of the hormone AMH, which indicates ovarian reserve, and thyroid status (TSH) are also checked. During the consultation, we complement the examination and tests with a careful personal and family history of both partners. This gives us a very good idea of the couple’s chances of conceiving naturally.
